Author Bio: Nancy Houser-Bluhm

Nancy Houser-Bluhm lived in the foothills west of Denver, Colorado for over 25 years with her husband and miscellaneous pets. She hailed from Michigan but growing up watching Bonanza, led to a longing for mountains. They have journeyed back to Michigan and are seeking a new Bluhmerosa.

Once a rock climber, she now spends time biking, skiing, camping, yoga-ing, breathing in nature; and oh yes, with writing her second novel, The Nickel Loop. There is an ever evolving release date .

The Gidget trope of miscommunication drives Nancy batty.. “Just tell Moondoggie what’s on your mind!!” Authentic communication with herself and others has been an ultimate life quest.

A lifelong journaler (that’s the communication with herself part), Nancy produced her own journal with her past journal wisdoms and her husband’s art. She retired as a worker bee following a career in Speech-Language Pathology. It was then she began blogging and published Whispers for Terra in 2021.

Although she considers herself a neophyte understanding climate issues, Nancy is committed to embedding readable “green” issues and solutions into her engaging fictional writing.
